The rankings for all golf guides rated on this site will be determined by creating an average score for each program based upon how it ranks in each of the ten categories listed. Each category will be scored based upon a 1-10 point scale with 10 being the best. Then, the total score out of 100 will be divided by 10, making 10 the best possible overall score for each program. Then ten subcategories and what they mean are:
Results: Rates how effective the golf program is and what kind of expectations you can have about improvements in your golf game.
Amount of Content: How much content and information is received upon purchase of the particular golf guide.
Quality of Content: So it has 400 pages of content...how good is it? This category rates the content so that no one ends up buying a golf enhancement program filled with worthless tips and information that everybody already knows.
Ease of Use: Is the golf guide easy to understand and is it simple to follow. No one wants to buy a program filled with a bunch of technical nonsense that they cant understand or follow to their benefit.
Customizable/Flexible: Is the golf program set up so that it can meet the specific needs of the golfer who purchased it, or will it only work well for certain types of golfers.
Guarantees: Can you get your money back if you are unhappy with the golf program or its results (usually not a problem).
Customer Service: Is the publishers customer service good? Do they help their customers work out any problems or questions they have about their golf guides or programs?
Affordability: Not made of money? How expensive is the program compared to others like it and other golf guides of similar quality.
Value: What is the bang for my buck? This category rates how well the golfing instructional program works relative to the price you will pay for it.
User Rating: Rates the experiences that others have sent in about his program, and overall user feedback in general.
